Gross examination revealed brown and yellow discoloration of all IOLs soaked in Dorzolamide and Brimonidine-tartrate solutions, respectively. SEM demonstrated precipitates that differed in size, morphology and distribution, between different IOL-solution combinations.

Take the information from this paper with a grain of salt as it is an analysis of lenses in vitro. However, if you have patients on certain glaucoma meds with reduced vision or mild contrast complaints after cataract extraction, this is something to keep in mind.
